  • The shut-off first, at any hour

A person answers at any hour: not a call center, not a message service.

  • We show you why it broke

Camera down the line after every main-line clear, so you can see the root or the belly that caused it.

Our work

Four jobs we do every week, start to finish

What each one looks like from your side of the door: what you notice, what we do about it, and what you are left with when we leave.

  1. A plumber with a headlamp on a ladder at night, reaching into an opened ceiling where a burst pipe drips into a bucket

    A pipe bursts at night

    Emergency plumbing

Water is coming through the ceiling at 2am

    1. What you notice

Water across the floor or through a light fixture, and no idea where to turn it off.

    2. What we do

The person who answers talks you to the main shut-off valve first, then gives you a real arrival window. On site we find the failed pipe, agree on a flat price with you, and repair it.

    3. What you’re left with

A dry, working line, the same price you would pay at 2pm, and two years’ warranty on our workmanship.

    $175 – $2,400 / call-out

    Usually 1-4 hours

  2. A plumber fitting a new tankless water heater on a utility room wall

    No hot water

    Water heaters

The water heater has given up

    1. What you notice

Lukewarm showers, a pilot light that will not stay lit, or water pooling around the tank.

    2. What we do

We tell you whether it is a repair or a replacement, with the price of each. The common tank sizes ride on the van, so a replacement is usually done the day you call.

    3. What you’re left with

Hot water again, the failed part in your hand so you can see what went, and a written warranty.

    $325 – $3,900 / unit

Usually 3-5 hours for a replacement

  3. A plumber feeding an inspection camera into a bathroom floor drain while watching the pipe on a tablet

    A drain that keeps blocking

    Drain clearing

The same drain blocks every few months

    1. What you notice

A sink that gurgles and drains slowly, or a toilet that backs up again not long after the last fix.

    2. What we do

We clear the line, then put a camera down it to find what caused the blockage: a root, or a sag in the pipe. The camera is included when we clear a main line.

    3. What you’re left with

A clear drain, and the footage on screen in plain words, so you are not paying us again in four months for the same thing.

    $195 – $650 / drain

    Usually 1-2 hours

  4. New copper and PEX supply pipes running through an open wall, a plumber checking a fitting

    Old galvanized pipes

    Repiping

Low pressure and brown water in an older home

    1. What you notice

Pressure that drops a little more every year, and water that runs rusty when a faucet is first opened.

    2. What we do

We replace the old galvanized or polybutylene supply pipes in PEX or copper, your choice, and explain the honest difference between them before you pick.

    3. What you’re left with

Steady pressure and clear water, and payment plans on jobs over $1,000, subject to approval.

    $6,500 – $12,000 / home

    Usually 2-4 days

What homeowners around Columbus say

4.9From 2,340 reviews

  • Pipe went at 2:30 in the morning. A real person picked up, told me where the shut-off was before anything else, and Ray was here within the hour. Charged the same as a normal day, which I genuinely did not expect.
    Melissa T.Westerville · Emergency plumbing
  • Quoted me a flat number before starting. It ended up taking them an extra two hours and the price did not change. That never happens.
    Greg A.Dublin · Water heaters
  • Cleared the line then put a camera down and showed me the root that caused it. Explained it in normal words instead of trying to sell me a whole new sewer.
    Nadia R.Bexley · Drain clearing
  • Installed the battery backup as standard instead of making it an extra. Power went out three weeks later during a storm and the basement stayed dry.

Pick a window that suits you

Real windows, checked as you pick, and the plumber best placed for the job.

  1. Get the water off first

The person on the phone talks you to your main shut-off valve before anything else. That one step saves more damage than anything we do when we arrive.

  2. We give you a real arrival window

A time, not a promise to call back. Our average on an emergency inside the service area is 58 minutes.

  3. You see the price before we touch anything

We look at the job, quote a flat number, and you say yes or no. Nothing starts until you have agreed it.

  4. We fix it, and show you what was wrong

Camera footage on a drain, the failed part in your hand on a water heater. You should understand what you paid for.

  5. Cleaned up, and a warranty in writing

Two years on our workmanship. If it goes again on our repair, we come back at no charge.

Straight answers

Questions we get asked

Still have a question?

A person answers day or night and tells you straight whether it’s a job for us.

(614) 555-0188
Do you really charge the same at night?

Yes. No surcharge for nights, weekends or holidays. A burst pipe at 2am on a Sunday is priced the same as a dripping faucet on a Tuesday.

Is the price hourly?

No. We price the job, not the hour. You agree on a flat number before anything starts, and it does not move even if the work runs long.

How fast can you get here in an emergency?

Our average is 58 minutes inside the service area. The person on the phone gives you a real arrival window, not a promise to call back.

What do I do right now if water is pouring out?

Turn the water off at the main shut-off valve before anything else - usually in the basement near the front wall, or at the meter. If you cannot find it, you call us and we would talk you to it.

Can you replace a water heater the same day?

Usually, yes. We carry the common tank sizes on the van.

Do you work on septic systems?

No. We handle everything up to where the line leaves the house, but septic tanks and drain fields are a different trade.

Will you give me a price over the phone?

We will give you an honest range. The exact flat price is set on site once we have seen it, and agreed with you before we start.

Is there a charge just to come out?

A service call is $75-$150 in Columbus, and it comes off the job if you go ahead. Phone advice and a written estimate are free.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes. Two years on our workmanship, in writing. If our repair goes again in that time, we come back at no charge.

Can I pay for a bigger job over time?

Payment plans are available on jobs over $1,000, subject to approval. They are most often used for water heaters, repipes and sump systems. The office talks you through it.
